Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree and/or three years’ experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in manufacturing environment.
- Thorough understanding of Lean Manufacturing Principles.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Must have a positive attitude and be able to motivate others.
- Must have good organizational skills to attend to multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Must exhibit high integrity and honesty.
- Ability to prepare, read, write, and interpret reports, instructions, and procedures.
- Able to respond to questions clearly and effectively from management and Customers.
- Able to narrate and record training videos.
- Familiarity with 5S concepts and Lean Manufacturing.
- Working knowledge of Analysis of Motion/Ergonomics.
- Working knowledge of Mistake Proofing/Poke-Yoke.
- Working knowledge of Control Plan, F.M.E.A., APQP or related experience.
- Knowledge of writing Standard Work Instruction.
- Must have computer skills (including MS Project, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Ability to effectively and appropriately present information and respond to questions from various groups.
Physical Demands:
- Involves some physical activity, which generally requires a moderate amount of exertion on an occasional basis. Involves lifting up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
Environmental Conditions:
- General office environment with daily exposure to factory environment.
Environmental, Health & Safety:
- Support and comply with all IATF & ISO14001 procedures and work instructions.
- Support a safe and healthful work environment that is free of recognized hazards for all employees, contractors, and visitors.
- Cooperate with all local, state, and federal agencies, such as OSHA or the EPA, in the event of an inspection.
- Know and follow all applicable EH&S Policies and Procedures.
