Job Description
Intelcom | Dragonfly
With more than 100 sorting stations and operations across three continents, Intelcom | Dragonfly is Canada’s leader in last-mile logistics. Our vision is clear: to deliver fast, accurate, and reliable service powered by cutting-edge technology.
A Strategic Role at the Heart of Logistic
Key Responsibilities :
- Identify and shape opportunities by leveraging organizational knowledge, scanning industry trends, internal data, and stakeholder feedback to propose high-potential experiments.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Operations to co-design use cases, select PoCs, and define experiment scope, users, dependencies, and success criteria.
- Develop software prototypes to tackle selected use cases leveraging software best practices coupled with modern development toolsets (AI-powered IDEs, cloud infra, etc.)
- Author experiment briefs including hypotheses, risk registers, rollback plans, and explicit stage gates for decision-making.
- Set an example of AI-enabled agile delivery by exemplifying to the organization how one can quickly zero in on a problem, propose a clever solution and ship a focused PoC in record time
- Measure and analyze results using clearly defined KPIs and baselines to decide whether to scale, iterate, or sunset initiatives.
- Ensure compliance and quality across cyber security, data governance, and operational safety during pilot execution.
- Translate learnings into playbooks and document best practices for future initiatives.
- Hand off validated solutions to product and operations teams for roadmap inclusion and scaling.
- Maintain trusted relationships with key stakeholders to drive alignment and secure support for pilots and experiments.
- Stay abreast with latest developments in AI (LLMs, agentic systems, RAG, etc.) and make an habit to learn new “tech” by testing it firsthand
- Display a “go getter” attitude with a strong sense of purpose in a highly experimental environment where product & technical uncertainty is present
- Foster a culture of experimentation by sharing insights and learnings, advocating for evidence-based decisions, and mentoring teams on rapid iteration.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Operations Management or equivalent practical experience;
- 5+ years in IT, ideally with either strong software development or product management experience
- Great interpersonal skills with a team player attitude and a bias for innovation over the preservation of the status quo
- Experience in the logistics & e-commerce sector (an asset)
- Web software development experience (especially with Node / React)
- Backend software development experience using modern cloud architecture
- Expertise with new AI-enabled development tools and “vibe coding” practices (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, etc.)
- Expertise with LLMs and agentic systems
- Track record of autonomously delivering innovative solutions from start to finish
- Ability to iterate and identify opportunity improvements rapidly
- Exceptional organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Demonstrated ability to navigate complex organizations and processes to pinpoint pain points and problem root causes
- Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple projects at once and/or changing priorities
