Role
The Pool and Beach Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of Amanvari’s pool and beach areas, ensuring every guest experience is serene, seamless, and aligned with Aman’s standards of excellence and tranquility.
This role requires a hands-on, detail-oriented leader who maintains the highest standards of cleanliness, comfort, and safety while delivering intuitive and genuine service.
The Pool and Beach Supervisor coordinates the daily setup and breakdown of all service areas, monitors weather conditions and tides in collaboration with the Safety and Engineering teams, and ensures that amenities, refreshments, and guest needs are delivered promptly and with discretion.
They lead by example, guiding their team of Amansanti staff with calm presence, operational efficiency, and a deep commitment to the Seva philosophy of humble service and care.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily pool and beach operations, ensuring a relaxed yet precise and consistently high-level guest experience.
- Oversee the full setup and breakdown of all pool and beach areas before opening, throughout service, and after closing.
- Coordinate temporary closures or operational adjustments due to weather or sea conditions, in collaboration with Security and Engineering teams.
- Ensure all areas are maintained in immaculate condition at all times, including loungers, umbrellas, cabanas, walkways, and surrounding spaces.
- Manage the delivery of guest amenities such as towels, water, refreshments, and personalized touches throughout the day.
- Support the Restaurant Manager with staff scheduling, daily briefings, and operational planning as required.
- Monitor and enforce safety protocols for both guests and staff, ensuring awareness of weather conditions, currents, and proper equipment use.
- Handle guest feedback with discretion, attentiveness, and efficiency, ensuring timely resolution and guest satisfaction.
- Support the execution of private or special experiences at the pool and beach when assigned.
- Foster a calm, organized, and positive environment for both guests and team members at all times.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in pool & beach, outdoor dining, or resort service operations within luxury or ultra-luxury hospitality environments.
- Strong operational and organizational skills, with a focus on logistics and guest comfort.
- Knowledge of HACCP, LQA standards, and safety procedures applicable to outdoor service environments.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills. Ability to anticipate guest needs and deliver service with discretion and efficiency.
- Fluency in both English and Spanish; additional languages are considered an advantage.
