Job Description:

The Commercial Compliance Strategy & Operations Lead works closely with the Head of Commercial Compliance to support, refine, and operationalize regional commercial compliance strategy, ensuring compliance expectations are clearly translated into daily business practices.

Beyond cascading compliance expectations to the frontline, this role establishes effective feedback loops to surface field insights and business challenges, and to inform and support continuous improvements in compliance design, processes, and capabilities.

Acting as a key link between HCC and the business, the role helps strengthen compliance effectiveness while enabling sustainable business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial Compliance Strategy Support & Execution

  • Partner with Commercial Compliance Head to the development and continuous improvement of commercial compliance strategy, using operational experience and field insights.
  • Translate compliance strategy, HCC policies, and governance requirements into clear, practical guidance for commercial daily work.
  • Identify gaps between compliance requirements and business reality, and provide practical input and recommendations to improve feasibility and adoption.

End‑to‑End Commercial Compliance Operations

  • Manage end‑to‑end commercial compliance operations within scope, ensuring consistent and high‑quality execution across commercial activities.
  • Act as the primary commercial compliance partner for commercial leaders and sales teams in the region.
  • Maintain close engagement with frontline teams to understand business practices, challenges, and risk exposure.
  • Provide practical, scenario‑based guidance and coaching to support compliant decision‑making in day‑to‑day business.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor who balances compliance requirements with commercial needs.

Frontline Insight & Data-driven Feedback Mechanism

  • Design and maintain structured feedback channels to capture recurring frontline challenges, business friction, and compliance‑related issues.
  • Review and analyze field insights together with monitoring data to identify trends and root causes.
  • Turn insights into clear improvement proposals and solution options, such as process simplification, training improvement, control clarification, or system support.
  • Use data and dashboards to help identify key risk areas and priority actions based on actual commercial activities and behaviors.
  • Work with relevant stakeholders to support decision‑making and follow up on improvement actions.

Training, Communication & Capability Building

  • Design and deliver practical commercial compliance training based on real business scenarios and regional needs.
  • Support and strengthen compliance understanding and skills across commercial teams through training and coaching.
  • Help build a culture of accountability and confident, compliant decision‑making..

Team Support & Operational Leadership

  • Support complex or high‑risk cases by offering structured thinking, escalation advice, and decision principles.
  • Drive continuous operational improvement through peer reviews, calibration, knowledge sharing, and best‑practice adoption.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Work closely with Legal, HCC, Internal Audit, Finance, HR, IT, and other stakeholders to align compliance execution with business operations.
  • Act as a strong connector between compliance governance and commercial execution teams.
  • Provide clear, insight‑driven updates on commercial compliance risks, trends, and operational effectiveness to relevant stakeholders

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or above;
  • Strong experience in commercial compliance, risk management, or commercial operations in a regulated environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate compliance requirements into practical business solutions.
  • Strong stakeholder management, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Comfortable operating in dynamic, fast‑paced commercial environments with high integrity and accountability.
