Job Description: Bradford Construction currently has an opportunity for a Junior Project Manager. This role is ideal for a motivated professional with 2+ years of experience who is looking to continue developing their skills within the Construction Management industry in New York City, and is especially motivated to gain experience with public agency projects.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Assist in ensuring quality, performance, and compliance in both design and construction by all consultants and vendors.
- Support the coordination of schedules, phasing, and planning to keep projects on track and within budget.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and assist in implementing timely solutions.
- Work closely with contractors, architects, and construction managers to address design and construction challenges.
- Review and process change orders, contract documents, and shop drawing submittals to maintain project compliance.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to track project status and address any field issues.
- Assist in resolving construction-related problems and providing recommendations to senior project managers.
- Ensure adherence to NYC building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Maintain and organize project documentation, reports, and field records.
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction management is required.
