About the Role
Southeastern Medical Oncology Center is seeking a dedicated Hematologist Oncologist to join our team in Jacksonville, North Carolina. In this role, you will provide comprehensive care for patients with hematologic conditions and solid tumors, managing evaluations, treatment planning, and ongoing support in both outpatient and inpatient settings. Working closely with a multidisciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to deliver advanced therapies while guiding patients and their families through every stage of care. Founded in 1984, Southeastern Medical Oncology Center (SMOC) is dedicated to providing the people of North Carolina the most advanced, effective, and appropriate cancer care and hematology care available. We have built a top-quality team to feed this mission who not only offer the highest standard of care, but also provide heartfelt understanding and comprehensive support. Our practice provides the same level of care and quality facilities as larger institutions while allowing our providers and patients to work in a local, private practice environment. We provide in-house laboratory services, on-site social services, in-office genetic testing and counseling, a team of financial counselors, support groups, on-site pharmaceutical services, classes, and much more in our mission to give hope in the fight against cancer.
