Roles and responsibilities:
Analytics Delivery & AI Enablement
- Oversee and manage the team to deliver AI-enabled analytical solutions
within agreed timelines and budgets while ensuring adherence to analytical
best practices and quality standards. - Lead the development and application of advanced analytics, decision
science, and AI/ML techniques to support Ex-US Commercialization across
brand strategy, omnichannel engagement, and resource allocation
Stakeholder Partnership & Strategic Support. - Closely partner with Ex-US Commercial stakeholders, Global Analytics, OCx,
Marketing, and BIT to understand business needs, scope analytical solutions,
and design impactful deliverables. - Act as a strategic thought partner, helping stakeholders frame decisions,
interpret insights, and understand trade-offs and implications. - Manage and prioritize competing business demands to ensure alignment with
strategic objectives.
Omnichannel & Commercial Insights
- Lead analytics supporting omnichannel strategies across personal and non-
personal promotion including field force, email, web, paid media, social, and
third-party platforms. - Oversee measurement frameworks for reach, engagement, quality
engagement, effectiveness, and ROI. - Guide experimental design, test-and-learn initiatives, and quasi-experimental
approaches to assess campaign, content, and channel effectiveness.
Team Leadership & Capability Building
- Manage, mentor, and develop individual contributors, including goal setting,
performance management, coaching, and career development.
Foster a culture of innovation, connectivity, and meaningful work within the
team. - Lead workload planning and prioritization to ensure sustainable delivery and
high team engagement.
Technical Oversight & Governance.
- Oversee all technical tasks performed by the analytics team, including
dashboards, business rules, documentation, automated pipelines, and model
governance. - Coordinate with BIT and data engineering teams to ensure reliable, timely,
and scalable data flows into downstream analytics and reporting solutions. - Ensure analytical outputs are well-documented, reproducible, and compliant
with governance standards.
Skills and competency:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to
translate complex analytics into clear, actionable business insights. - Strong project management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to
lead diverse teams and manage multiple competing priorities. - Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills, with the ability to
synthesize insights from disparate data sources. - Deep understanding of advanced analytics, applied statistics, and
AI/ML methodologies. - Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to drive collaboration and
deliver results in a dynamic, matrixed environment. - Strategic mindset with a passion for AI-led innovation and continuous
improvement.
Experience:
- BA/BS required; advanced degree preferred with special consideration for
degrees in life/physical sciences, applied sciences (computer science,
mathematics, data science), or engineering. - 7+ years in pharmaceutical commercial analytics or advanced analytics, with
the majority of this experience focused on driving MMx projects. - Proven track record of personally building and delivering MMx models in the
Non US market. - Proven experience operationalizing LLMs for commercial use cases —
knowledge retrieval, summarization, generative analytics, and automation of
insight generation. - Experience embedding AI analytics platforms into commercial workflows with
enterprise-wide adoption. - Extensive knowledge of pharmaceutical data — claims, APLD, specialty
pharmacy, digital signals, and promotional data. - Strong foundation in AI governance — risk management, security, privacy,
model monitoring, and human-in-the-loop principles in regulated
environments. - Experience with cloud analytics platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, Spark),
MLOps, and BI tools; solid understanding of HIPAA, GDPR/CCPA, and
applicable regulatory standards. - Mastery of programming and data science tools (Python, R), machine learning
frameworks (scikit-learn, PyTorch), large-scale analytics environments,
visualization platforms, and workflow automation. - Familiarity with CRM (e.g., Veeva), omnichannel metrics, multi-touch
attribution (MTA), and AI-driven next-best-action frameworks. - Exposure to Non-US markets — including Europe, Asia, and Latin/South
America — is a plus.
Technical Skills (Preferred)
- Hands-on experience with Python and/or R for data analysis, statistical
modelling, and ML pipeline development. - Proficiency in machine learning frameworks — scikit-learn, PyTorch — and
large-scale model deployment. - Experience with data visualization and reporting tools (R Shiny, Dash,
Tableau, Power BI, or similar). - Exposure to collaborative analytics environments (Databricks, Git,
SharePoint, Domino, Snowflake). - Experience with MLOps practices and workflow automation tooling.
- Understanding of LLM frameworks, prompt engineering, and RAG pipeline
design for enterprise applications.
