Nutrition Support Specialist - Registered Dietitian (RD) - Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital - Full Time - Day Shift
Bring your experience to the pediatric clinical nutrition team at NewYork-Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital. Here, you will work with a dynamic team and diverse patient population. As part of our Pediatric GI team, this role may also provide coverage of Short Bowel Syndrome/Intestinal Rehabilitation or other GI patients. In addition, you'll provide coverage for both inpatients and outpatients. Specifically, you'll recommend parenteral and enteral nutrition regimens for optimal patient care. Coordinate home parenteral nutrition orders, as applicable. Additionally, recommend nutrition interventions for all other assigned patients and precept dietetic interns and education of staff. You will also be able to participate in projects and research with strong interdisciplinary collaboration.
This is a full time, day shift position.
Preferred Criteria:
- Experience in clinical pediatric nutrition
- Experience with pediatric nutrition support (parenteral & enteral nutrition)
- Certified Specialist in Nutrition Support, Pediatric Nutrition, or Pediatric Critical Care (CNSC, CSP, CSP-CC)
- Outpatient experience
Required Criteria:
- Minimum of a Baccalaureate Degree granted by a U.S. regionally accredited college/university or foreign equivalent
- Completion of an ACEND accredited/approved Supervised Practice Program in Dietetics
- Registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
- NYS Certification as a Dietitian/ Nutritionist (CDN)
- 3 years of experience in clinical nutrition as a registered dietitian
