Aplyr is an AI job search platform that automates the repetitive parts of finding a job. It searches nearly 800,000 live jobs from 5,000+ companies, ingested directly from employer career sites and applicant tracking systems. It scores every role 0–100 against your profile, tailors your resume to each posting, submits applications for you through Quick Apply or Autopilot, and tracks every reply automatically. Today it's live. In this post: why we built it, what each piece does, and how to try it free — 5 credits, 30 days, no credit card.
Why we built Aplyr
If you've searched for a job recently, you know the grind. You find a promising role, click Apply, and land on a multi-step form that asks you to create an account, upload your resume, then retype that same resume field by field. 20 minutes later, you've completed the application. Then you start over on the next application… and again… and again.
Multiply that by the dozens of applications a serious search takes and the math gets bleak. Almost none of those hours go to judgment: which roles actually fit, what your story is, how to prepare for the interview. They go to repetition. The same employment history over and over, the same forms, the follow-up spreadsheet you update at midnight and abandon by week three.
And applying is only half of it. Once a few dozen applications are out, the search becomes a memory problem. Which companies replied, who wants a phone screen, which rejection was for which role. Most people manage that in a spreadsheet exactly as reliable as their worst week.
We built Aplyr to take the repetition and leave you the judgment. Software is good at filling forms, watching inboxes, and remembering what happened. People are good at deciding what they want. Everything below is an attempt to keep each side doing what it's good at.
Search that starts at the source
Aplyr searches nearly 800,000 live jobs from 5,000+ companies, ingested directly from employer career sites and applicant tracking systems rather than scraped from job boards. Working from the source means fewer stale listings and faster updates. Postings refresh daily, and new roles typically appear within 24 hours of going live. You can also browse every hiring company we index.
Every job gets a match score from 0 to 100 based on your skills, experience, role fit, location, and salary preferences. The weights are adjustable, so if location matters more to you than salary, the scores follow. Filters cover the usual suspects (remote policy, seniority, employment type, minimum salary) plus a visa-sponsorship filter built from companies' H-1B history. Search and match scores are free, no plan required.
Two ways to apply: Quick Apply and Autopilot
Quick Apply submits a complete application in one click, including the long multi-step ones that normally take 20+ minutes. It fills the entire form with your profile, resume, and answers to custom questions, and if the employer's system requires an account, Aplyr creates one for you during submission. It works across the major applicant tracking systems. There's no daily cap, so you can Quick Apply to as many jobs per day as your credits allow. We wrote a full walkthrough in how Quick Apply works.
Autopilot runs Quick Apply for you on a schedule. Tell it what you're looking for (job categories, locations, seniority, minimum salary, companies to exclude) and it screens new matching jobs every day and applies within your plan's daily cap: 20 applications a day on Lite, 40 on Pro, 80 on Ultra. It comes in two modes:
- Review queues every application for your approval. Credits are only spent when you accept and the submission actually succeeds.
- Full Auto submits without intervention. It's the fully hands-off option.
Either way, each application costs 1–2 credits, and failed submissions are refunded automatically. What is Autopilot? covers the filters, modes, and safety rails in detail.
Tailoring and tracking, built in
A resume tailored to every role
Aplyr doesn't write your resume from scratch. It tailors the one you already have. For each job, it analyzes the description, surfaces your most relevant experience, and adds the keywords ATS filters screen for. Nothing is fabricated. Nothing you didn't do gets added. There's a full resume builder underneath too, with nine templates and an auto-fit-to-one-page option. Our post on AI resume tailoring explains how we drew the no-fabrication line.
A tracker that fills itself
Once applications go out, Aplyr classifies the replies (confirmations, interview invites, recruiter outreach, rejections, offers) and builds a timeline for every application with zero manual entry. If you've been running your search from a spreadsheet, you can import it (CSV, PDF, or Word) and Aplyr maps your existing applications onto the tracker.
Gmail integration is strictly read-only. Aplyr can read job-related email and can never send, modify, or delete anything. It's also entirely optional. Every paid plan includes an Aplyr Inbox, a dedicated email address for your job search, so applications and replies land somewhere Aplyr can watch without touching your personal inbox. The application tracker guide has the full tour.
How the pieces fit together — and what it costs
Each feature stands on its own. You can use the search and nothing else, or just the tracker. But the point of Aplyr is the loop:
- Set up your profile and preferences once.
- Search, with every role pre-scored 0–100 against your profile.
- Quick Apply to the ones you like, or let Autopilot screen and submit daily.
- Each submission can go out with a resume tailored to that specific job.
- Replies land in the tracker automatically, so you always know where things stand.
Trying the loop costs nothing. The free trial includes 5 Quick Apply credits, lasts 30 days, and requires no credit card. Search, match scores, and saved jobs stay free after it ends. Autopilot, the tracker, tailoring quotas, and the Aplyr Inbox come with the paid plans (Lite, Pro, and Ultra), which differ mainly in monthly credits and Autopilot daily caps. Paid plans also add monthly resume-tailoring and cover-letter quotas, and Pro and Ultra tailor your resume automatically on every submission.
Credits are deliberately simple. Most applications cost 1, longer multi-page flows cost 2, never more. Failed submissions are refunded automatically, and searching and tracking never cost credits. The full breakdown is on the pricing page.
Try the loop on a real application
The free trial includes 5 Quick Apply credits, enough for real applications to real companies. 30 days, no credit card.

This is the first post on this blog, and the format stays simple: direct writing, real numbers from the product, honesty about limitations. For launch week we're publishing deep dives on Quick Apply, Autopilot, resume tailoring, and the tracker.
On the product side, the direction is the one we started with. More companies, more supported application systems, and fewer minutes between "I want this job" and a submitted, tailored application.
So that's Aplyr. It searches over a million jobs from thousands of companies and scores each one 0–100 against your profile. It applies for you through Quick Apply or Autopilot at 1–2 credits per application, refunding any failed submission automatically. It tailors your existing resume without fabricating anything, and tracks everything through your Gmail or your own Aplyr Inbox.
The trial is 5 credits, 30 days, no credit card. That's enough to see whether the busywork really disappears.
Frequently asked questions

- Is Aplyr free to try?
- Yes. The free trial includes 5 Quick Apply credits, lasts 30 days, and requires no credit card. Search and match scores stay free after the trial ends; Autopilot, the application tracker, and the Aplyr Inbox require a paid plan.
- Do I need to connect my Gmail?
- No. Gmail is optional, and when connected it's strictly read-only — Aplyr can never send, modify, or delete anything. Every paid plan also includes an Aplyr Inbox, a dedicated email address you can use for your job search instead.
- How is Aplyr different from autofill extensions?
