Roles at companies that explicitly sponsor work visas — H-1B, TN, E-3, O-1, OPT/CPT, and Green Card transfers. We've filtered to listings that affirmatively state sponsorship is available rather than relying on inference. If a company has a history of sponsoring but the specific role doesn't mention it, the listing won't appear here.
Visa sponsorship in 2026 is meaningfully more accessible at large tech companies and traditional Fortune 500 employers than at most early-stage startups. The cost-and-process burden of sponsoring (legal fees, lottery odds, multi-year timelines) deters smaller companies; well-funded growth-stage companies (post-Series B with HR infrastructure) are the realistic middle ground.
For H-1B specifically, the lottery cycle runs each spring with results in late March / early April for the following October start. If you're applying in May for H-1B, you're targeting October-2027 starts at the earliest unless you have an alternative status (cap-exempt employer, OPT extension, etc.). Plan timelines accordingly.
Tip: companies that explicitly mention "we sponsor for new and existing visas" in their job descriptions are signaling more strongly than companies that just say "open to sponsoring qualified candidates." Treat the ambiguous language with appropriate skepticism — it often means "yes, in theory, for a unicorn candidate."
