Swim Team Assistant

• Assist in planning and conducting daily swim practices for various age groups and skill levels
• Provide stroke instruction, technique correction, and endurance training
• Help supervise swimmers to always ensure safety at all times
• Support meet preparation, including lineups, warm-ups, and event coordination
• Encourage sportsmanship, teamwork, and a positive attitude among swimmers
• Communicate effectively with swimmers, parents, and coaching staff
• Assist with team events, meets, and club activities
• Help maintain pool equipment and practice areas

• Competitive swimming experience (high school and/or club preferred)
• Basic knowledge of stroke mechanics and swim training techniques
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work with children and teens in a positive, motivating way
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented

• Lifeguard certification
• CPR/AED and First Aid certification
• USA Swimming coaching credentials (a plus, not always required)

• Outdoor pool setting
• Early mornings, evenings, and weekend meets may be required
• Fast-paced, energetic, and team-focused atmosphere
