About the Role
We are looking for a driven and dynamic Sales Manager to lead the growth of a new launch product (Meningococcal B vaccine) and paediatric vaccine portfolio through a dual role that combines personal territory ownership with team leadership. (dual responsibility)
This role is accountable for driving vaccine access, recommendation, and uptake across key accounts, while leading and developing a high-performing sales team. You will act as the orchestrator of cross-functional collaboration, ensuring strong execution and sustained business impact.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business & Territory Leadership
- Own and deliver sales performance for both individual territory and team
- Develop and execute territory and key account strategies
- Ensure availability, access, and uptake of Bexsero across priority accounts
2. People Leadership & Capability Building
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of sales representatives
- Conduct field coaching, joint visits, and performance reviews
- Build team capability in scientific engagement and value-based selling
3. Customer & Stakeholder Engagement
- Engage paediatricians, GPs, and key stakeholders with clear, evidence-based messaging
- Build strong relationships and drive advocacy for vaccination
- Map stakeholders and leverage influence networks within accounts
4. Patient Journey & Access
- Strengthen vaccination pathways from recommendation to administration
- Identify barriers and implement solutions to improve access and uptake
- Leverage clinic staff (e.g., nurses) as key enablers
5. Cross-functional Collaboration
- Partner with marketing, medical, and access teams
- Ensure aligned execution, consistent messaging, and product availability
6. Execution Excellence
- Drive segmentation, targeting, and omni-channel engagement
- Maintain strong discipline in planning, reporting, and compliance
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (Science or Business; MBA is a plus)
- Proven experience in pharma/vaccine sales with team management responsibility
- Strong track record in account management and customer engagement
- Ability to build credibility with healthcare professionals
- Excellent communication, coaching, and influencing skills
- Strong commercial acumen, ownership, and execution focus
