Role Summary and Impact

This is an exceptional opportunity to join our expanding Global Investment Team, working across high-profile clientsand contributing directly to our mission of driving client transformation. You will leverage your existing media knowledge and gain hands-on experience in:  

  • Strategic Investment Management:Develop a holistic overview of WPP Media global investment targets,support WPP Media'sadvanced trading products, and identify holistic media value opportunities at an unprecedented scale.  
  • Digital Partnerships & Innovation:Collaborate with WPP Media global partners. Identify and implement innovativeinvestment solutions and strategies, integrating advanced AIand data-driven insights, to unlock new value for our clients.  
  • Global Engagement:Work with our most significant clientsand collaborate seamlessly with colleagues across globalmarkets, spanning Asia, North America, Europe, and LatAm, gaining invaluable international experience.

We are seeking media professionals with experience who are ready to take on more responsibility and elevate their career to the next level. Your current experience may have been built at an auditor, as a buyer within a local market, at a media vendor or within a regional or global investment management agency team. Key skills and areas of focus for this role include:  
  
Advanced Analytical Prowess:  

  • Your existing aptitude for mathsand attention to detail will be critical, as well as your curious nature to ask questions and understand the context and the story of the data.  
  • You will haveadvanced skills in data analysisand be looking to develop data visualisation skillsusing industry-leading tools such as Power BI. An interest in code, VBA/macro writingskills, Alteryx or Tableau will be an advantage but not essential.  
  • A proactive approach to learning and development will be critical in the fast-evolving industry  

  
Enhanced Collaboration & Strategic Relationships:  

  • You will further develop your ability to developand nurture strategic relationships with colleagues across -teamsand key external partners, influencing outcomes.  
  • You will actively contribute to a positive environment, fostering team spirit, driving inclusionand high-level collaborationon complex projects.

Problem-Solving & Strategic Thinking:  

  • You will proactively develop solution-focused approaches, leading conversations to discuss, align, and resolve challenges, using innovation in your approach and thinking outside the box.  
  • Further develop your market intelligence, understanding global media markets, media channel evolution, measurement approaches, and trading metrics at a strategic level and look for opportunities within their application.   

  
Project Management & Mentorship:  

  • Opportunities to manage and developmore junior team members, responsible for driving high-quality work and learning agendas, thereby enhancing your leadership skills.  
  • Proven capability at prioritising, adapting, and maintain a solutions-focused approach in a demanding, globalenvironment.  
  • Involvement in global new business pitches, supporting to create the most competitive and holistic offers, working in an existing and fast paced environment.
