Job Description

As a Benefits Partner you will be responsible for answering questions from employees and retirees, providing administrative and technical support to the team.

You will work remotely and report to the Retirement Team Leader, Canada.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to requests regarding Canadian benefits, such as group benefits, retirement, EAP, policies, etc.

  • Assist and educate employees with claim issues, plan provisions and changes

  • Follow-ups for life insurance payment request.

  • Request premium payments from inactive and retired employees.

  • Support the monthly process for check deposits

  • Assist in payment and the reconciling of invoices

  • Review of PPG communications and Summary Plan Descriptions and offer recommendations based on benefits knowledge as well as the overall employee experience

  • Participate in the review of benefits operational processes and update materials

  • Participate in the administration of disability files.

  • Assist in the preparation of data relating to the year-end process (taxable benefits).

Qualifications

  • DEC in a relevant field or a Bachelor Degree in Human Resources or Administration.

  • 3 to 5 years of relatable, professional experience.

  • Excellent knowledge of Canadian legislation.

  • Must be bilingual in English and French, including, spoken, written and reading.

  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Suite, in particular Excel; Knowledge of Human Resources software or CRM familiarity would be an asset.

  • Very sound sense of organization, judgment, autonomy, initiative and attention to detail

  • Strong communication skills with the capacity to maintain confidentiality are essential for this position.

The base salary range for this position is $50,000 to $62,000 CAD, with a possibility of an annual bonus up to 4.5% of base salary. En tant que Partenaire, Avantages sociaux, vous serez responsable de répondre aux questions des employés et des retraités, ainsi que de fournir un soutien administratif et technique à l’équipe.

 Vous travaillerez à distance et relèverez du responsable de l’équipe Retraite – Canada.

Principales responsabilités :

  • Répondre ou rediriger les demandes des employés et retraités concernant les avantages sociaux, tels que les assurances collectives, le régime de retraite et d’épargne, le PAE, les politiques, etc.

  • Offrir un support et éduquer les employés sur les problèmes de réclamation, les dispositions et changements de régime

  • Effectuer le suivi concernant les réclamations d'assurance-vie

  • Effectuer les demandes de paiement de primes auprès des employés inactifs et retraités

  • Participer au processus de dépôts mensuels de chèques

  • Participer au paiement et à la réconciliation des factures

  • Réviser des communications et sommaires de régimes ainsi que proposer des recommandations afin d’améliorer l'expérience des employés

  • Participer à la révision et rédaction des processus liés aux avantages sociaux

  • Participer à la campagne de réadhésion

  • Participer à l’administration des dossiers d'invalidité

  • Participer à la préparation des données relatives au processus de fin d'année (avantages imposables)

Qualifications

  • DEC dans une discipline pertinente ou un Baccalauréat en ressources humaines ou administration;

  • Trois (3) à cinq (5) années d'expérience pertinente;

  • Excellente connaissance de la législation canadienne.

  • Parfaitement bilingue, anglais et français, tant à l’oral qu’à l’écrit;

  • Connaissance des logiciels de la suite MS Office, en particulier Excel niveau avancé serait un atout ;

  • Très bon sens de l'organisation, jugement, capacité d’analyse, autonomie et précision;

  • Très bonnes habiletés de communication, discrétion et sens de la confidentialité.

La fourchette de salaire de base pour ce poste est comprise entre 50 000 $ et 62 000 $ CAD, avec la possibilité d’une prime annuelle pouvant atteindre jusqu’à 4,5 % du salaire de base.
